On July 28-30, 2021, the first Guangdong Province Firefighter Skills Competition practical exercise was held at the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Fire Brigade Training Base in Huadu District, Guangzhou. More than 400 public security firefighters and urban full-time firefighters from more than 20 teams across the province participated in the competition of 9 projects. The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) product independently developed by Guangdong Zhongkeruitai Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was showcased in the fire equipment exhibition area and successfully completed multiple firefighting operations such as fire investigation, material deployment, personnel search and rescue, and water hose firefighting in practical exercises with ground firefighters and vehicles. It received unanimous praise from relevant departments and on-site firefighters.
This event is jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department, Guangdong Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps, Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Guangdong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League. The goal of the event is to "pay tribute to the competition elites and inherit the spirit of craftsmanship", aiming to hone the on-site fire prevention and extinguishing leadership and organization ability, emergency response ability, fire prevention and extinguishing team response ability, and fire scene combat ability of fire departments in various cities.
As the fire alarm was sounded, all participating teams were on high alert and quickly mobilized. Post disaster search and rescue in shopping malls is compared to a keen sense of battlefield smell and rescue speed; The connection of three water hoses is the most basic action and the core technical essentials; Simulating actual fire extinguishing in a chemical plant tests the collaborative operation ability between formations! On site, the Zhongkeruitai drone team conducted fire inspections in the key explosion areas under the dispatch of the fire department. Combined with ground video monitoring systems, technical coordination with fire officers, and ground air cooperation, a "three-dimensional" fire monitoring pattern was formed, effectively shortening the time for fire inspections, quickly conducting hotspot inspections, comprehensively grasping the fire situation, and timely reporting the frontline situation to the rescue command center, providing first-hand intelligence for combat deployment.
With several thunderous explosions, the climax of this drill arrived. At the simulated fire extinguishing scene of a chemical plant explosion, various firefighting elites and rescue equipment gathered in place, adjusted the angle of high-pressure spray and mobile water cannon, and launched a total attack on the fire point. I saw a swift figure floating over the fire, dragging a long tail to approach the fire pot, spraying fire fighting foam to the burning area in the air of more than 20 meters, attracting bursts of applause! This is a picture of the linkage between Zhongkeruitai's firefighting drone carrying water hoses and ground fire trucks, carrying out precise firefighting operations towards difficult to reach high-altitude fire points, presenting a high-tech large-scale ground to air three-dimensional firefighting and rescue drill for everyone present. The drone operation dispatched by Zhongkeruitai in this competition exercise greatly improved the fire scene command personnel's ability to predict the fire situation, reduced the pressure on frontline firefighters, and improved the speed and efficiency of fire disposal, providing strong support for the material supply, fire reconnaissance, prevention and rescue work of this skills competition. Every time we soar, we shoulder a mission, and every expedition is full of the heavy burden of life. Zhongke Tai unmanned aerial vehicles will live up to expectations, constantly improving their practical capabilities through honing, and never forgetting their original intention to assist in firefighting and rescue!
